Vitaliy Satskyi
Vitaliy Antonovych Satskyi ( uk, Віталій Антонович Сацький) was a Ukrainian politician, director of Zaporizhstal, former metallurgist. He was a member of the Academy of Mining Sciences of Ukraine (1993), the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine, and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Career Born in village of Chubarivka (today Polohy), in 1954 Satskyi graduated a technological faculty of the Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (today the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine) as engineer-metallurgist. In 1954 to 1980 he worked at the leading metal producing factory in Ukraine Kryvorizhstal starting from engineer-roller of rolling shop and secretary of the factory's Komsomol Committee to chief engineer and deputy director of Kryvorizhstal in 1968. Hero Of Ukraine
Hero of Ukraine (HOU; uk, Герой України, ''Heroi Ukrainy'') is the highest national title that can be conferred upon an individual citizen by the President of Ukraine. The title was created in 1998 by President Leonid Kuchma and as of 11 December 2022 the total number of awards is 687; some decrees on the assignment of the title Hero of Ukraine were not published. The title is granted to two different order recipients: the civilian Order of the State, and the military Order of the Gold Star. The Order of the Red Banner of Labour (russian: Орден Трудового Красного Знамени, translit=Orden Trudovogo Krasnogo Znameni) was an order of the Soviet Union established to honour great deeds and services to the Soviet state and society in the fields of production, science, culture, literature, the arts, education, health, social and other spheres of labour activities. It is the labour counterpart of the military Order of the Red Banner. A few institutions and factories, being the pride of Soviet Union, also received the order. The Order of the Red Banner of Labour was the third-highest civil award in the Soviet Union, after the Order of Lenin and the Order of the October Revolution. The Order of the Red Banner of Labour began solely as an award of the Russian SFSR on December 28, 1920.
