Albert Camille Vital
Brigadier General Albert Camille Vital (born 18 July 1952) is a Malagasy Army officer, politician and civil engineer who was Prime Minister of Madagascar from 2009 to 2011. He is the president of the Parti Hiaraka Isika. Life and career Trained in the Soviet Union, Vital was Chief of the Technical Office of the State Forces Staff Development (1987–1991), and then appointed corps commander of the first regiment of the Military Region No. 5 Toliara (1998–2001) before training at the Ecole Supérieure de Guerre in Paris in 2001–2002. On 20 December 2009, Vital was appointed as Prime Minister by President Andry Rajoelina, succeeding Eugène Mangalaza. Mark Vital Jr. (born November 7, 1997) is an American football tight end and basketball guard who is a free agent. He played college basketball at Baylor University before transitioning shortly after winning a National Championship during his basketball career at Baylor University and playing in the NBA Summer League with the Portland Trail Blazers to pursue a career in the NFL. Early life and high school career Vital was labeled "middle school basketball's most impressive dunker" by Yahoo Sports in June 2012. He gave up football to focus on basketball in eighth grade. Samuel Vital
Samuel ben Hayyim Vital (1598 – 1677) was a Kabalist born in Damascus in the latter half of the sixteenth century. While still young he married a daughter of Isaiah Pinto, rabbi of Damascus. Poverty compelled him to emigrate to Egypt, where, through the influence of prominent men, he was placed in charge of the cabalistic society Tiḳḳune ha-Teshubah. After a brief residence there he went to Safed, where he instructed the physician Jacob Zemah in Kabala. In the middle of the 17th century he returned to Egypt, where he died. Samuel Vital was the author of both cabalistic and rabbinical works. Among the former may be noted the ''Shemonah She'arim,'' an introduction to the Cabala, later embodied in the ''Eẓ Ḥayyim'' (Zolkiev, 1772; Korzec, 1785). Among his unpublished writings mention may be made of his ''Sefer Toẓe'ot Ḥayyim,'' a commentary on the Bible, and his ''Sefer Ta'alumot Ḥokmah,'' on the Cabala. Raymonde Vital
Raymonde Vital was a woman who lived in the Comté de Foix in the early fourteenth century, she was made notable when Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie wrote about her in his 1975 book Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie#Montaillou, ''Montaillou''. Working as a servant in the home of the Belots, one of the wealthier families of the village of Montaillou, she met Arnaud Vital, a shoemaking, cobbler who was boarding there. She married him and the two set up house together, but the marriage was unhappy as Arnaud ignored her in favour of a series of mistresses. After Arnaud died, Raymonde married Bernard Guilhou. Pauleus Vital
Pauleus Vital was a Haitian artist. He was born in Jacmel, in October 1917. He grew up learning to build boats, and cabinets. At age 21 he moved to Port-au-Prince to further his building career. At age 38, Vital started to paint, after his half-brother Prefete Duffaut, introduced him to Centre d’Art. He spent 3 years at Centre d’Art, then moved back to Jacmel in 1959. Much of the motivation for his work comes from his home by the river in Jacmel. His work consists of detailed paintings, of everything from Haitian courtyards, countryside’s, and subterranean Vodou ceremonies. His paintings are relatively small and vary in size from around 24”x20” and up to 24” x 48”. He died on June 18, 1984, at age 66, while undergoing heart surgery.Russell, Candice. Lionel Vital (born July 15, 1963) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and Buffalo Bills. He was a member of the Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He also was a scout and director of personnel in the National Football League. Arnaud Vital
Arnaud Vital was a cobbler in the Comté de Foix in the early fourteenth century. He is notable for appearing in Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie's ''Montaillou''. Originally from a peasant family in Prades d'Aillon, he moved to Montaillou living as a boarder in the house of the Belot family. He was later joined by his sister Raymonde who came to work as a servant in the Belot home. Arnaud was a committed Albigensian and spent much time guiding parfaits through the mountains. He was also a great womanizer, the lover of Alazaïs Fauré whom he converted to Catharism. At one point he tried to force himself upon Raymonde Testanière, mistress to Bernard Belot, but she resisted him. Arnaud later married another servant in the Belot household named Raymonde.
