Visma Arena
The Visma Arena or Växjö Arena is a association football, football stadium in Växjö, Sweden and the home of Superettan club Östers IF. The stadium is a part of a large redevelopment of the area formerly known as Värendsvallen into Arenastaden, which also includes a Vida Arena, new ice hockey arena, floorball arena and a dedicated indoor athletics arena. Between 2012 and 2020, it was known as Myresjöhus Arena. History On 29 March 2011 it was announced that the house builder Myresjöhus had purchased the naming rights to the stadium for an undisclosed amount. Myresjöhus Arena is a dedicated football stadium with a capacity of 12,000 (10,000 seated), with the entire audience under roof. Lars-Åke Lagrell (20 January 1940 near Växjö – 21 September 2020) was a Swedish sports personality who was the president of the Swedish Football Association between 1991 and 2012. In 2002 Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson appointed him Governor of Kronoberg County. The 2012 Superettan, part of the 2012 Swedish football season, was the 12th season of Sweden's second-tier football league in its current format. The 2012 fixtures were released on 9 December 2011. The season began on 6 April 2012 and ended on 3 November 2012. Teams A total of 16 teams contested the league, 12 returning from the 2011 season, two relegated from Allsvenskan and two promoted from Division 1. Småland
Småland () is a historical province () in southern Sweden. Småland borders Blekinge, Scania, Halland, Västergötland, Östergötland and the island Öland in the Baltic Sea.
