Vishnu Hari Dalmia
Vishnu Hari Dalmia (6 May 1924 – 16 January 2019) was a noted Indian industrialist and a prominent member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Early life He was born into an Agarwal family and scion of Dalmia Group of industries and the eldest son of Jaidayal Dalmia. He was one of the senior members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, served as various posts in organization as president, international president and was on the advisory board of VHP. He also played important role in Ram Janmabhoomi movement and was one of the co-accused in Babri Masjid demolition case. The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) () is an Indian right-wing Hindu organization based on Hindu nationalism. The VHP was founded in 1964 by M. S. Golwalkar and S. S. Dalmia Bharat Group, (DBG) is an Indian conglomerate company, which trace their origin to the businesses established by ''Ramkrishna Dalmia'' and Jaidayal Dalmia. Jaidayal Dalmia (1904–1993) was born into Hindu Agarwal family and was one of the leading industrialists and philanthropists of India. Ram Janmabhoomi Movement
Ram Janmabhoomi (literally, "Rama's birthplace") is the site that is hypothesized to be the birthplace of Rama, believed to be the seventh avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu. The Ramayana states that the location of Rama's birthplace is on the banks of the Sarayu river in a city called "Ayodhya". Modern-day Ayodhya is in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Some Hindus claim that the exact site of Rama's birthplace is where the Babri Masjid once stood in the present-day Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. According to this theory, the Mughals demolished a Hindu shrine that marked the spot, and constructed a mosque in its place. Babri Masjid Demolition Case
The demolition of the Babri Masjid was illegally carried out on 6 December 1992 by a large group of activists of the Vishva Hindu Parishad and allied organisations. The 16th-century Babri Masjid in the city of Ayodhya, in Uttar Pradesh, had been the subject of a lengthy socio-political dispute, and was targeted after a political rally organised by Hindu nationalist organisations turned violent. In Hindu tradition, the city of Ayodhya is the birthplace of Rama. In the 16th century a Mughal general, Mir Baqi, had built a mosque, known as the Babri Masjid at a site identified by some Hindus as ''Ram Janmabhoomi'', or the birthplace of Rama.
