Vishal Warriors, also known as Vishal Group Warriors ( ne, विशाल वारियर्स), was one of the first franchise teams of the first edition of the Everest Premier League. It was captained by Nepal cricket captain Paras Khadka. The head coach of the team is Mahesh Rizal. The team manager has been Raunaq B. Malla since 2014. Everest Premier League (EPL) ( ne, एभरेष्ट प्रिमियर लिग) is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal run by Aamir Akhtar alongside his team including Kieran Holds and Jack Edmondson. It is the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It is played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament is renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. Paras Khadka
Paras Khadka (, ne, पारस खड्का, ; born 24 October 1987) is a Nepalese professional cricketer also known as the god of Nepali cricket. He was the captain of the Nepalese cricket team from 2008 to 2019. All-rounder Khadka is a right-handed batsman, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, and an off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Malaysia in April 2004. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. On 3 August 2021, Khadka announced his retirement from international cricket. He was Nepal's All-time highest run scorer in both ODI and T20I format until his retirement. Sagar Pun ( ne, सागर पुन) (born 1 March 1993) is a Nepalese professional cricketer. An All-rounder, Sagar is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Singapore in March 2013. He plays for the Nepal Army Club of the National League, Vishal Warriors of the Nepal Premier League and Pentagon International College, which plays in the SPA Cup. Manjeet Shrestha ( ne, मञ्जित श्रेष्ठ) (born 30 November 1984) is a Nepalese cricketer. All-rounder Manjeet is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. The captain of a cricket team, often referred to as the skipper, is the appointed leader, having several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of the other players. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps.
