Vishal Singh (social Worker)
Vishal Singh (born 19 March 1980) is an Indian social worker. His organization serves almost 900 attend to patients at three hospitals daily. In addition to Balrampur Hospital, Singh runs a similar free kitchen at King George's Medical University and at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia hospital. Early life Singh was born in 1980 in New Delhi. He worked at a parking lot in Hazratganj. He scavenged through trash cans for food. He opened a tea and snacks stall. In the winter of 2003, Singh's father was admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram, and the medical authorities asked for an over ₹50,000 deposit to continue his treatment. Singh decided to feed hungry relatives of patients. He sent out 100 food packets each to KGMU and Balrampur hospital. In 2015, he entered the real estate business and launched a free food service. King George's Medical University
King George's Medical University is a medical school, hospital, and medical university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The medical school was raised to a medical university by an act passed by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 16 September 2002. The university has about 1250 undergraduate students (including 280 dental students) and 450 postgraduate students. About 250 students a year are admitted to the four-and-a-half-year course of study for the degree of M.B.B.S. History King George V, then the Prince of Wales, laid the foundation stone of King George's Medical College in 1906. The college opened its gates in 1911, though the official opening ceremony was delayed to January 1912. Hazratganj
Hazratganj is the downtown and the main shopping centre of Lucknow, the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to bazaars, it also contains shopping complexes, restaurants, hotels, theaters, cafés and many offices.
