The Viseu Football Association (''Associação de Futebol de Viseu'', abrv. ''AF Viseu'') is the district governing body for the all football competitions in the Portuguese district of Viseu. It is also the regulator of the clubs registered in the district. SC Lamego
Sporting Clube de Lamego ''(abbreviated as SC Lamego)'' is a Portuguese football club based in Lamego in the district of Viseu. Background SC Lamego currently plays in the Terceira Divisão Série B which is the fourth tier of Portuguese football. The club was founded in 1934 and they play their home matches at the Estádio dos Remédios in Lamego. The stadium is able to accommodate 3,500 spectators. GD Mangualde
Grupo Desportivo Mangualde is a Portuguese sports club from Mangualde. The men's football team played in the Honra AF Viseu. The team played in the second tier until the 1989–90 Segunda Divisão, being transferred to the new third tier 1990–91 Segunda Divisão B, whence it was relegated. Campeonato De Portugal (league)
The Campeonato de Portugal (Portuguese for 'Championship of Portugal') is the fourth level of the Portuguese football league system. Together with the third-tier Liga 3, it is organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The Campeonato de Portugal was introduced in 2013 as the new third-level championship, under the name Campeonato Nacional de Seniores (Seniors National Championship), replacing both the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão (former third and fourth divisions, respectively). On 22 October 2015, it adopted its current naming. With the creation of the Liga 3 as the new third division from the 2021–22 season, the Campeonato de Portugal was demoted one level. Mortágua FC
Mortágua ( or ) is a municipality in the district of Viseu, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 9,607, in an area of 251.18 km2. The present mayor is José Júlio Norte, elected in 2013 by the Social Democratic Party. History Legend suggests that that village was formed on a lake; settlers recalled that ''Água Morta'' (''dead water'') existed here, but no physiological evidence remains of the body of water. Over time, the name stayed and evolved, becoming the variant today of the local municipality. The compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. Portuguese Football League System
The Portuguese football league system consists of several leagues bound together hierarchically by promotion and relegation. Reserve teams are allowed to compete in the main league system, as is the case with most of Europe. However, they are not allowed to compete in the same tier as their senior team, thus no reserve team has ever competed in Portugal's top flight, the Primeira Liga. Lusitano Futebol Clube de Vildemoinhos is a Portuguese Association football, football club from the parish of Vildemoinhos in the city of Viseu. The club was founded on 14 August 1916 and plays in fifth tier of the Portuguese football league system. In the 2018–19 Taça de Portugal, Lusitano lost the first round 4–2 at home to S.C. Beira-Mar, but were one of 22 teams restored to the second round, where they won on penalties at F.C. Oliveira do Hospital. Overtime (sports)
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The rules of overtime or extra time vary between sports and even different competitions. Some may employ " sudden death", where the first player or team who scores immediately wins the game. In others, play continues until a specified time has elapsed, and only then is the winner declared.
