Virtus Pallavolo Bologna
Virtus Pallavolo Bologna was the volleyball section of the Multi-sports club, ''S.E.F. Virtus'' (the most famous representative of the club today is Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna). History Virtus Pallavolo was born in 1962 (dissolved 1974) and absorbed the team of the league foundries; the latter that year Virtus had his Serie A debut. Bologna became the new partnership for a decade protagonist of the Italian League. Coached by the Modenese Odone Federzoni, Virtus won his first championship at the end of the 1965–66 season, after a playoff win in Milan against Ruini Firenze. In 1966-67 Vitus made the repeat, demonstrating an overwhelming superiority: it was the best performance ever offered by a team in the national championship. Virtus won all twenty-two matches, losing only on September 6 during the whole tournament. Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna, known for sponsorship reasons as Virtus Segafredo Bologna, is an Italian professional basketball club based in Bologna, Emilia-Romagna. The club was founded in 1929, which makes it the oldest club in Italy and one of the oldest ones in Europe. Virtus is the second most titled basketball club in Italy after Olimpia Milano, having won 16 Italian national championships, 8 Italian National Cups and 3 Italian Supercups. Gruppo Sportivo Vigili del Fuoco Otello Ruini (Ruini Firenze) is a sports club of the Fire Department of Florence, Italy. The club is best known for its volleyball teams. CUS Torino Pallavolo
CUS Torino Pallavolo was a professional men's volleyball team based in Turin, Italy. It is one of the most famous clubs which played in Serie A1 in the 1970s and in the 1980s, winning several Italian and European trophies. History Founded in 1952 by the students who joined sports club of the University of Turin, CUS reached the highest level of Italian volleyball league in 1972. Guided by Silvano Prandi and sponsored by industries Klippan and Kappa, the club in the next decade won four national titles (1978–79, 1979–80, 1990–81 and 1983–84), a CEV Champions League (1980) and a Cup Winner's Cup. In 1988, for economic reasons, it did not enroll at Serie A1 and restarted from the lower divisions. In 2001 the team merged into Piemonte Volley. Basketball

The Pallavolo Parma was one of the oldest and most successful professional man's volleyball clubs in Italy. Its colours were white and azure. Founded in Parma in the 1940s, after a sequence of incorporations with other teams, it is currently disappeared from Italian professional volleyball panorama. It won 8 national titles, 2 CEV Champions League and a number of other Italian and European trophies. History Founded in 1946 for initiative of the Railroaders's Recreative Club as ''Ferrovieri Parma'', the team took part for the first time at Serie A in 1949 and won its first national title in 1950.
