Virginia Fábregas
Virginia Fábregas García (17 December 1871 – 17 November 1950) was a Mexican stage and film actress active in the early 20th-Century. She appeared in films between 1931 and 1945. Personal life Virginia Fábregas García was born on 17 December 1871 Oacalco, Yautepec, Morelos, Mexico. Her father was Ricardo Fábregas, originally from Spain, and her mother was Úrsula García. After her mother's death, she spent part of her childhood on the hacienda Apanquetzalco in Morelos, where the owner built a small theater for her. She attended the Normal school in Mexico City, graduating in 1896. Virginia Fábregas died at the age of 79 in Mexico City, and on 18 November 1950 her remains were interred at the Rotunda of Illustrious Persons. Antonio Cánovas del Castillo y Vallejo, better known as Kaulak (22 December 1862 – 13 September 1933), was a Spanish people, Spanish photographer, art critic, editor and amateur painter. His uncle was prime minister Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, assassinated in 1897 by an anarchist, hence his use of a pseudonym; the meaning of which is unexplained, although the word appears to be of Basque language, Basque origin. Biography He was originally a lawyer, and held several public offices before deciding to devote himself to photography. This included high positions in the ministries of Interior and Justice, as well as holding a seat in the Cortes Generales, Cortes (legislature), representing the constituency of Cieza, Murcia, Cieza, in the early 1890s. Fanny Schiller Hernández (3 August 1901 – 26 September 1971) was a Mexican award-winning character actress and television star, who also acted in operettas and musicals, during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She won two Ariel Awards for best supporting actress, and was nominated for two additional films. She was a social activist, creating the Actor's Union and inspiring the creation of “Rosa Mexicano”. She was accomplished at dubbing and was the voice of many animated characters as well as the official voice of several other notable Mexican actresses.
