Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) is Virginia Commonwealth University’s Qatari branch of its School of the Arts. The main campus is located in Richmond, Virginia. VCUarts Qatar is located at Education City in Doha, Qatar. VCUarts Qatar is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art & Design, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned ( ar, موزا بنت ناصر المسند; born 8 August 1959) is one of the three consorts of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Emir of the State of Qatar. She is co-founder and chairperson of the Qatar Foundation. Early life and education Moza is the daughter of Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Missned, a well-known opposition activist and the former head of the Al Muhannada confederation of Bani Hajer. Education City is a development in Al Rayyan, Qatar. Developed by the Qatar Foundation, the property houses various educational facilities, including satellite campuses of eight international universities.
