''Virasaat'' is an Indian Hindi-language television series that aired on Sahara TV in 2002. Overview The story portrays the lives of Sahni family's members & captures the ups and downs of the six Sahni siblings — four brothers and two sisters. However, the story is mainly based on the emotional bonding between the stepson, Manav & his stepmother, Jayashree. The trials and tribulations for 'Sahnis' begin after the death of the head of household, Mr. Sahni. This is when the whole family is thrown out of their vary own house by their uncle, Omkar who cheats to obtain their property. Nevertheless, Mrs. Sahni tries to fight back and stands up for her family. But her own sons withdraw to help & joins their uncle's misdeed. This is when the stepson, Manav takes up the responsibility to support his stepmother & start the life from the scratch. Sahara One is an Indian Hindi general entertainment channel based in New Delhi. It is operated by Sahara India Pariwar. History Sahara One was launched as Sahara TV on 28 March 2000, which later in April 2003 was renamed as Sahara Manoranjan. As to compete with other channels and attract more audience, the channel once again changed its name to Sahara One on 10 October 2004. The channel launched in the United States in 2005 on EchoStar along with the sister channel Filmy. and they launched Firangi, a Hindi entertainment channel in 2008. Since 2015, Sahara One no longer air new programmes and air reruns of previous shows. Programming The channel provides a mix of fiction and non-fiction entertainment shows, events, dramas, mythological series, reality shows, kids programming, thrillers, feature films and film-based programmes. Suhasini Mulay
Suhasini Mulay (born 20 November 1950) is an Indian actress in Assamese, Bollywood and Marathi films as well as television. She won National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1999, for her performance in Gulzar's film ''Hu Tu Tu''. Early life and education Suhasini was born in a Marathi speaking family in Patna where she spent the early part of her childhood.
