Cabo Frio (, ''Cold Cape'') is a tourist destination located in the state of Rio de Janeiro state. It was founded by the Portuguese on November 13, 1615. The Men's under-23 road race of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 24 September 2021 from Antwerp to Leuven, Belgium. It was the 25th edition of the UCI Road World Championships – Men's under-23 road race, event. The race was won by Italian rider Filippo Baroncini, finishing two seconds ahead of the bunch sprint for silver, won by Biniam Girmay of Eritrea. The classic cycle races are the most prestigious one-day professional road cycling races in the international calendar. Some of these events date back to the 19th century. They are normally held at roughly the same time each year. The five most revered races are often described as the cycling monuments.
