Vinnie Politan
Vincent Joseph "Vinnie" Politan (born February 4, 1965) is a former New Jersey county prosecutor, practicing private attorney and broadcast journalist. He serves as lead anchor of Court TV (formerly co-hosted with Seema Iyer). He hosts and created the primetime show ''Closing Arguments with Vinnie Politan'', which is the highest rated primetime program on the network. Previously, he co-created and hosted ''After Dark'', a hit show on HLN which featured an in studio jury. It was the network's highest premiering show in its history. Before that he anchored "Prime News with Vinnie Politan" on HLN and HLN Special Report. He co-anchors ''In Session'' on the cable network truTV. Michael Skakel
Martha Elizabeth Moxley (August 16, 1960 – October 30, 1975) was a 15-year-old American high school student from Greenwich, Connecticut, who was murdered in 1975. Moxley was last seen alive spending time at the home of the Skakel family, across the street from her home in Belle Haven. Michael Skakel, also aged 15 at the time, was convicted in 2002 of murdering Moxley and was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. In 2013, Skakel was granted a new trial by a Connecticut judge who ruled that his counsel had been inadequate so he was then released on $1.2 million bail. On December 30, 2016, the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled 4–3 to reinstate Skakel's conviction. The Connecticut Supreme Court reversed itself on May 4, 2018, and ordered a new trial. Brooks Jr. drove a sport utility vehicle (SUV) through the annual Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States, killing six people and injuring sixty-two others.
