Vineeta Rai
Vineet Rai is a former Indian Administrative Service officer and Revenue Secretary in the Government of India. Rai was voted one of ''The 25 Most Powerful women in Business'' in India in 2020. Early life Rai completed her schooling at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in New Delhi and subsequently studied history at Miranda House, and Brandeis University on a Wien International Scholarship. Career An officer of the 1968 IAS batch of the Union Territories cadre, Rai is the first women to hold the post of Revenue Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. Vineeta Rastogi
Vineeta Rastogi (August 4, 1968, in Silver Spring, Maryland – December 6, 1995) was an American AIDS activist, public health worker and Peace Corps Volunteer in Democratic Republic of the Congo. She attended University of Maryland, Harvard School of Public Health and had been accepted at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health for a Ph.D. when she was diagnosed with cancer. When the disease was terminal she started the Vineeta Foundation to continue her life's work. Vineeta Foundation
The Vineeta Foundation was founded in 1995 by Vineeta Rastogi. She and her husband, Brian Hennessey, learned that Ms. Rastogi had terminal cancer in the same year and decided to start a foundation to continue her public health and human rights work, with a particular focus on HIV/AIDS pandemic. Part of the foundation's innovative work involves extensive overland travel to discover the health and human rights issues in a region, seeking formal and informal organizations that are successfully dealing with these problems and their cultural context. The foundation then implements a pilot program involving as many of these players as possible and then presents the findings at the International AIDS Conference. Vineeta Rishi, is an English actress, known for playing Jas Khella in the BBC One soap opera ''Doctors (2000 TV series), Doctors''. Born in Bracknell, Berkshire to Indian parents, Rishi grew up in Walkergate, Newcastle upon Tyne where she attended Walkergate Primary and Junior School and Benfield School. Vineeta Singh is an Indian entrepreneur and CEO and co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics. She has been a shark (i.e. judge/investor) on the business reality TV show Shark Tank India since the show started airing on SonyLIV in 2021.
