Vincenzo Alberto Annese (born 22 September 1984 ) is an Italian professional football manager and former player who is the current head coach of Indian Super League club NorthEast United. Started his coaching careers Italy, Annese managed teams in Latvia, Ghana, West Bank, Indonesia, Belize, Kosovo and India. He won record consecutive I-League titles with Gokulam Kerala. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. West Bank Premier League
The 2010–11 season marked the creation of the first professional league in the territories and saw high-profile signings for many clubs. Most notably Fadi Lafi (Hilal Al-Quds), Hernán Madrid (Wadi Al-Nes), and many Arab citizens of Israel who played for teams in the second and third tier of Israeli football. The original format of the WBPL consisted of 12 teams playing each other twice over 22 matchdays, the bottom two clubs are relegated to the second division and the team with the most points are crowned champions.
