Vincent Zhou
Vincent Zhou (born October 25, 2000) is an American figure skater. He is a 2022 Olympic Games team event silver medalist, a two-time World bronze medalist (2019, 2022), the 2019 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy champion, the 2021 Skate America champion, the 2018 CS Tallinn Trophy silver medalist, the 2017 CS Finlandia Trophy silver medalist, and a three-time U.S. national silver medalist (2017, 2019, 2021). He is also the 2017 World Junior champion, a three-time Junior Grand Prix event silver medalist, and the 2013 U.S. junior national champion. In February 2018, Zhou became the first person to successfully land a quadruple Lutz jump at the Olympics. He finished sixth in PyeongChang. 2019 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The 2019 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships were held on February 7–10, 2019 in Anaheim, California, United States. Held annually since 1999, the competition featured skaters from the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Medals were awarded in Single skating, men's singles, Single skating, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Qualification This competition is open to skaters from all non-European International figure skating, member nations of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for European skaters is the 2019 European Figure Skating Championships. Skaters are eligible for the event if they reached the age of 15 before July 1, 2018. As a skater, his competitive career was cut short when he was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease. Following surgery on his knee, then 18-year-old Wilson toured with Ice Capades in North America. With his then-partner, Jean-Pierre Boulais, Wilson settled in Montreal and began working as a choreographer. Their breakout client was Sébastien Britten.
