Vincent Peranio
Vincent Peranio (born 1945) is a retired American production designer, art director, set designer, and actor. Peranio began his career designing film sets for John Waters. Because of his work with Waters, he is considered one of the Dreamlanders, Waters' ensemble of regular cast and crew members. Biography Peranio was born in 1945 in Baltimore, and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1968. He is of Italian ancestry. Peranio's first credited project is the creation of ''Lobstora'', a room-sized rapacious lobster in Waters' ''Multiple Maniacs'' (1970). After ''Multiple Maniacs'', Peranio developed a successful career creating the sets for all subsequent films of Waters and other films and TV shows, including Barry Levinson's ''Liberty Heights'' and the crime dramas, '' Homicide: Life on the Street'', ''The Corner'', and the HBO television production ''The Wire''. Steve Yeager
Stephen Wayne Yeager (born November 24, 1948) is an American former professional baseball catcher. Yeager spent 14 of the 15 seasons of his Major League Baseball career, from 1972 through 1985, with the Los Angeles Dodgers. His last year, 1986, he played for the Seattle Mariners. From 2012 to 2018, Yeager was the catching coach for the Dodgers. He was co-MVP of the 1981 World Series. Early and personal life Yeager was born in Huntington, West Virginia. Barry Levinson
Barry Lee Levinson (born April 6, 1942) is an American filmmaker, comedian and actor. Levinson's best-known works are mid-budget comedy drama and drama films such as '' Diner'' (1982); ''The Natural'' (1984); ''Good Morning, Vietnam'' (1987); '' Bugsy'' (1991); and ''Wag the Dog'' (1997). He won the Academy Award for Best Director for ''Rain Man'' (1988). In 2021, he co-executive produced the Hulu miniseries '' Dopesick'' and directed the first two episodes. ''Pink Flamingos'' is a 1972 American film directed, written, produced, narrated, filmed, and edited by John Waters. Fell's Point is a historic waterfront neighborhood in southeastern Baltimore, Maryland. Ed Peranio
Dreamlanders are the cast and crew of regulars whom John Waters has used in his films. The term comes from the name of Waters' production company, Dreamland Productions. Many of the original Dreamlanders were friends of Waters from his native Baltimore, Maryland. They included the "bad suburban kids" he knew from Towson and Lutherville: Bob Skidmore, Mark Isherwood, and Mary Vivian Pearce. This crowd was drawn to downtown Baltimore by the gay scene, where Divine introduced Waters to David Lochary.
