Vincent Munier
Vincent Munier (born 14 April 1976) is a French wildlife photographer and documentary filmmaker. Among his most notable works are his photographs of arctic wolves and snow leopards. He co-directed a film about snow leopards, ' (2021), which received the César Award for Best Documentary Film. Life and work Vincent Munier was born on 14 April 1976 in Épinal in Vosges, northeastern France. He began to photograph animals in the Vosges forests and mountains at the age of twelve, aided by his father. He went on to become a professional wildlife photographer. Munier prefers to create landscape photographs with animals that viewers might not discover immediately. He is known for photographing in snow, which he likes due to the lighting associated with it, how it omits non-essential details from the image and the fact that animals manage to live in remote and harsh environments. Sylvain Tesson
Sylvain Tesson (born 26 April 1972) is a French writer and traveller born in Paris. He has engaged in a number of unusual travels and expeditions which are the basis for his books. Among his most successful works are '' The Consolations of the Forest'' (2011), about a project to live alone in a Siberian cabin for six months and ' (2019), about the quest for snow leopards in Tibet. For the latter book he received the Prix Renaudot. Pierre Pelot (Pierre Grosdemange, also known as Pierre Pelot, Pierre Suragne or Pierre Carbonari), is a French science fiction writer. Born on 13 November 1945, in Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle, Vosges, France. Overview Pelot began his writing career by writing westerns. His first novel, ''La piste du Dakota'' he Dakota Trail takes place in the United States after the end of the Civil War. It appeared in the imprint ''Marabout Junior''. In 1967, Pelot created the character of ''Dylan Stark'', who was born in the Confederacy. The first novel in this book series, ''Quatre Hommes pour l'Enfer'' Four Men to Hell, also takes place during the Civil War. Charlélie Couture (born Bertrand Charles Elie Couture, 26 February 1956) is a French & American musician and multi-disciplinary artist, who has recorded over 25 albums and 17 film soundtracks, and has held a number of exhibitions of paintings and photographs. Wildlife Photographer of the Year is an annual international wildlife photography competition staged by the Natural History Museum in London, England. There is an exhibition of the winning and commended images each year at the museum, which later tours around the world. Wildlife photography is a genre of photography concerned with documenting various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat. As well as requiring photography skills, wildlife photographers may need field craft skills.
