''Invincible'' is an American comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, illustrated by Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, and published by Image Comics. Set in the Image Universe, ''Invincible'' follows the coming of age of superhero Mark Grayson / Invincible, a Viltrumite and first-born son of Omni-Man, the most powerful person on the planet. Omni-Man
Omni-Man (Nolan Grayson) is a fictional character in the Image Universe, created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Cory Walker (with Ryan Ottley) as an expansion of a character concept created by Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse. Omni-Man is the father of Invincible and a member of the Viltrumite race, a humanoid species of extraterrestrial origin who possess immense powers, working as a superhero on Earth. Guardians of the Globe are a fictional superhero team in the Image Universe, appearing primarily in the comic, and further Amazon Prime series, ''Invincible''. The original team was based on DC Comics' Justice League of America. Jamie GrooverAs stated in the letters column for ''Invincible'' #3; Image Comics, March 26 2003 is an American comic book writer who uses the pen name Benito Cereno. He is best known as the writer and co-creator of 2004's ''Tales from the Bully Pulpit'' and Hector Plasm. His work first appeared as strips in early issues of Robert Kirkman's comic book ''Invincible (comics), Invincible''. These backups were illustrated by Nate Bellegarde, and included such characters as the Deep-Fried Monkey, Deep-Fried Pirate, and pseudo-autobiographical versions of the duo themselves. Along with Bellegarde, Cereno created the supernatural investigator Hector Plasm. A compilation of short stories from both ''Western Tales of Terror'' and ''Invincible'' were re-printed in 2006 as ''Hector Plasm: De Mortuis''. White Lion
The white lion is a rare color mutation of the lion, specifically the Southern African lion. White lions in the area of Timbavati are thought to have been indigenous to the Timbavati region of South Africa for centuries, although the earliest recorded sighting in this region was in 1938. White lions first became known to the English-speaking world in 1977 through the book ''The White Lions of Timbavati''. Description White lions are not albinos. Their white color is caused by a recessive trait, called leucism, derived from a less-severe mutation in the same gene that causes albinism, similar to the gene responsible for white tigers.
