Vilma Jamnická (née Vilma Březinová) (13 November 1906 – 12 August 2008) was a Czechoslovak actress, astrologer and astrological writer. Life Jamnická was born in Barchov (Hradec Králové District), Barchov in 1906, which was then part of the Austria-Hungary (now in the Czech Republic). She died in Bratislava, Slovakia on 12 August 2008, at the age of 101. Astrology is a range of divinatory practices, recognized as pseudoscientific since the 18th century, that claim to discern information about human affairs and terrestrial events by studying the apparent positions of celestial objects.
