Villiers-sur-Marne–Le Plessis-Trévise, more commonly known as Villiers-sur-Marne, is a French railway station in Villiers-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne department. The station is at kilometric point 20.741 of the Paris-Est–Mulhouse-Ville railway; it is nearby the town of Le Plessis-Trévise hence its name. It is served by RER E. The station Opened on the Paris-Est–Mulhouse-Ville railway in 1857, the station is served since 30 August 1999 by trains of the RER E line going through the E4 branch. It was previously served by suburban trains from the Gare de l'Est since 1857. Initially one of the general terminus of the RER E line, the station became a partial terminus (for 4 trains out of 6 at off-peak times and 1 train out of 2 at peak hours) with the extension of this line to Tournan on 14 December 2003. , the estimated annual attendance by the SNCF was 8,146,119 passengers. Réseau Express Régional
The Réseau Express Régional ( en, Regional Express Network), commonly abbreviated RER (), is a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. It acts as a combined city-centre underground rail system and suburbs-to-city-centre commuter rail. In the city centre it acts much like the Paris Métro, though faster, having fewer stops. This has made it a model for proposals to improve transit within other cities. The network consists of five lines: A, B, C, D and E. The network has 257 stations and has interchanges with the Métro and commuter rail within the City of Paris and the suburbs. Noctilien is the night bus service in Paris and its agglomeration. It is managed by the Île-de-France Mobilités (formerly the STIF), the Île-de-France regional public transit authority, and operated by RATP (with 32 lines) and Transilien SNCF (with 16 lines). It replaced the previous '' Noctambus'' service on the night of 20/21 September 2005, providing for a larger number of lines than before and claiming to be better adapted to night-time transport needs. Haussmann–Saint-Lazare is a station on the RER in Paris, France. Opened on 14 July 1999 as the terminus of the new Line E, it is situated beneath Boulevard Haussmann and directly connected to Paris–Saint-Lazare, Auber RER, and two metro stations. Engineering The architecture of Haussmann–Saint-Lazare closely resembles that of Magenta. Following the earlier model of Charles de Gaulle–Étoile, its main train hall houses two lines under a single cathedral-like vault with lateral platforms.
