Nelson Villagra (born 9 August 1937) is a Chilean actor, writer and director of stage and screen. He is recognised as one of the most masterful actors in Chilean cinema and is widely known in Chile for his exceptional portrayal of a mentally retarded murderer in Miguel Littín's ''El Chacal de Nahueltoro'' (1969). He also collaborated with Raúl Ruiz on '' Tres tristes tigres'' (1968), '' La colonia penal'' (1970) and '' Nadie dijo nada'' (1971). In 1973, Villagra was exiled from Chile as a result of the military coup which led to the Pinochet dictatorship. After a time in Europe, he went on to Cuba and worked with some of the key Latin American directors of the period, such as Humberto Solás ('' Cantata de Chile'') and Tomás Gutiérrez Alea, winning the Best Actor award for his role as 'El Conde' in Gutiérrez Alea's ''The Last Supper'' at the 1978 Biarritz Film Festival. Federico Villagra (born May 21, 1969) is an Argentine rally driver competing in the Argentine Rally Championship. He had previously competed in the World Rally Championship for the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team. His co-driver is Diego Curletto. Career After experiencing success in his native championship (including winning the group N4 class every year between 2001 and 2005), Villagra came to the attention of a wider stage by winning the group N class of Rally Argentina in 2006 and 2007. This led to his employment by the Munchi's Ford World Rally Team halfway through the 2007 season. He scored his first points with an attrition aided seventh place in Japan. Sergio Rodrigo Villagra (born 11 October 1973 in Viña del Mar, Chile) is an Australian rules football goal umpire who has officiated in the Australian Football League since 2002. Early life Villagra immigrated to Australia with his family from Chile during the Pinochet regime. The family settled in the west of Sydney. Umpiring After watching his first Australian Football League match, between the Sydney Swans and Fremantle at the Sydney Cricket Ground, in 1995 he developed a fascination with the goal umpires, who at the time wore white hats.
