Vili Resnik
Vili Resnik (born November 27, 1963) is a Slovenian rock singer and guitarist. Biography Since his youth he was active in various sorts of bands as a guitarist and singer. He also learned to play violin at school. From 1990 to 1995 he was the frontman of the Slovenian rock band Pop Design, with whom he released several albums. He was selected to represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 in Birmingham with his ballad "Naj bogovi slišijo". At Eurovision, Resnik ended up in 18th place in the field of 25. Resnik also made an appearance in the Slovenian TV series ''Lepo je biti sosed''. Naj Bogovi Slišijo
Slovenia was represented by Vili Resnik in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song "Naj bogovi slišijo". Before Eurovision EMA 1998 ''EMA 1998'' was the 4th edition of the Slovenian national final format '' Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA)''. The competition was used by RTV Slovenija to select Slovenia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 1998. Competing entries 43 entries were received by RTV Slovenija during a submission period. An expert committee consisting of Miša Molk, Andrej Karoli and Mojmir Sepe selected fourteen artists and songs for the competition from the received submissions. Lepo je biti sosed ''(It's nice to be neighbours)'' is a Slovenian television series, which started filming in 2008 and after six seasons, ended May 2011. The broadcast television series called POP TV in the Monday evening slot (20.00), its director was Jemeršič Ven. The first three seasons are copied from the original Slovak. The plot tells about two neighbouring families with good relationships. The storyline is about two couples, who live across the hallway to each other.
