Vilho Luolajan-Mikkola
Vilho Luolajan-Mikkola (22 December 1911 – 14 November 2005) was a Finnish composer of contemporary classical music. Luolajan-Mikkola studied composition under Aarre Merikanto and Selim Palmgren. One of his most famous works is the song cycle ''Koiruoho, RUUSUNKUKKA'', which was completed in 1977. Luolajan-Mikkola's other musical output includes woodwind music among others. He was an active composer until his last years, and the song "Hiljentyen" dates from 2001. Vilho Petter Nenonen
Vilho Petter Nenonen (6 March 1883 – 17 February 1960) was a Finnish general. Nenonen was born in Kuopio. He received his military education in the Hamina Cadet School 1896–1901, in the Mihailov Artillery School in St Petersburg 1901–1903, and in St Petersburg Artillery Academy 1906–1909. He served in the Imperial Russian army during World War I. When the Finnish Civil War began, he moved to Finland and was given the job of creating the artillery of general Mannerheim's White Army. After the war, Nenonen also served as the Minister of Defence between 1923 and 1924. During the Continuation War, he was a part of Mannerheim's inner circle. He was promoted to the rank of ''General of the artillery'' in 1941 and remains the only person to have held the rank. As Finnish Defence Forces' Inspector of the Artillery, Nenonen played a large role in developing the Finnish artillery's training, equipment, and tactics. Vilho Siivola
Vilho Siivola (10 April 1910 – 28 November 1984) was a Finnish actor, film director, television director and a member of the Council of Theatre. Siivola was born in Valkeakoski. His career included theatre, where he was both an actor and a director, motion pictures and television. Notably, in 1953 he was one of the founders of 'Kivi-juhlat’ (a theatre festival based in the childhood town of Aleksis Kivi) and was its first director in 1977. In addition he wrote two books, ''Myllykylästä Maailmalle'' (1975) and ''Maailmassa Maailmaa'' (1983). Vilho "Ville" Immanuel Tuulos (26 March 1895 – 2 September 1967) was a Finland, Finnish triple jumper and long jumper. He won a gold medal in the Athletics at the 1920 Summer Olympics – Men's triple jump, triple jump at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. The 14.50 meter jumps he made during the qualifying round was counted for the main event and were enough for the win. Tuulos also won bronze medals at the Athletics at the 1924 Summer Olympics – Men's triple jump, 1924 and Athletics at the 1928 Summer Olympics – Men's triple jump, 1928 Olympics. Vilho Väisälä (; September 28, 1889 – August 12, 1969) was a Finnish meteorologist and physicist, and founder of Vaisala Oyj. After graduation in mathematics in 1912, Väisälä worked for the Finnish Meteorological Institute in ''aerological measurements'', specializing in the research of the higher troposphere. At the time the measurements were conducted by attaching a thermograph to a kite. In 1917 he published his dissertation in mathematics ''Ensimmäisen lajin elliptisen integralin käänteisfunktion yksikäsitteisyys'' (The single-valuedness of the inverse function of the elliptic integral of the first kind).
