Vilalba
Vilalba is a municipality in Galicia (Spain), Galicia (Spain), in the province of Lugo, on the left bank of the river Ladra, one of the headstreams of the Minho (river), Miño. A Voz De Vilalba
''A Voz de Vilalba'' was a newspaper published in Vilalba, Spain between 1983 and 1986. During these years, twenty-seven numbers and some special numbers were published, and the average edition was five hundred copies. Some of their subscribers were prominent figures as the important intellectual Ramon Piñeiro, the historian Ramón Villares, the politician Manuel Fraga Iribarne, the player of the ''Deportivo da Coruña'' Vicente Celeiro or the Cardinal Antonio Maria Rouco Varela. Terra Chá
A Terra Chá is a region of Galicia, in the Province of Lugo. The overall population of this local region is 47,697 (2005). The regional capital and major population lies in Vilalba. A Terra Chá is in the northern interior of the province Lugo. It is the largest region of Galicia at 1,822.75 km ² and has 47,697 inhabitants Manuel María, one of their famous poets, wrote a poem in 1954 entitled ''Terra Chá''. Manuel Fraga Iribarne
Manuel Fraga Iribarne (; 23 November 1922 – 15 January 2012) was a Spanish professor and politician in Francoist Spain, who was also the founder of the People's Party. Fraga was Minister of Information and Tourism between 1962 and 1969, Ambassador to the United Kingdom between 1973 and 1975, Minister of the Interior in 1975, Second Deputy Prime Minister between 1975 and 1976, President of the People's Alliance/People's Party between 1979 and 1990 and President of the Regional Government of Galicia between 1990 and 2005. He was also a Member of the Congress of Deputies and a Senator. Fraga's career as one of the key political figures in Spain straddles both General Francisco Franco's regime and the subsequent transition to representative democracy. Province Of Lugo
Lugo is a province of northwestern Spain, in the northeastern part of the autonomous community of Galicia. It is bordered by the provinces of Ourense, Pontevedra, and A Coruña, the principality of Asturias, the State of León, and in the north by the Cantabrian Sea ( Bay of Biscay). The population is 331,327 (2018), of whom a quarter live in the capital Lugo. Ramón Chao
Ramón Luís Chao Rego (21 July 1935 – 20 May 2018) was a Spanish journalist and writer. He won the Premio de Virtuosismo for Piano in 1955. The same year he moved to Paris, France to study music with Nadia Boulanger and Lazare Lévy. In 1960 he began his collaboration with the RTF's Iberian languages Service. He was head of this service ten years later. At the same time he was collaborating with the Spanish weekly '' Triunfo'', the monthly '' Le Monde Diplomatique'', and the daily newspapers ''Le Monde'' and ''La Voz de Galicia''. Paradores de Turismo de España , branded as Paradores, is a Spanish state-owned chain of luxury hotels that are usually located in historic buildings or in nature areas with a special appeal. Parroquia (Spain)
A ''parroquia'' (, , ) is a population entity or parish found in Galicia and Asturias in north-west Spain. They are entities with a territorial scope lower than municipality and have their own legal personality. They usually, but not always, coincide with the ecclesiastic divisions as they originated on pair with them. In Galicia there are 3771 ''parroquias'', each comprising between three and fifteen or more villages.
