Viktoria Stolp was a German association football club formed in 1909, from the city of Stolp, Pomerania which was at the time part of Germany and is today Słupsk, Poland. __TOC__ History The club was founded 5 September 1909 in the Gastwirtschaft Franz Squar as ''Sportverein Viktoria Stolp'' and the next year grew with the addition of ''Fußball-Club Britannia Stolp''. In the 1911–12 season, the team made its first appearance in the playoffs of the Baltenverband where they were convincingly put out (0:7) in a quarterfinal match versus '' BuEV Danzig''. They slipped into obscurity for the next two decades before becoming champions of the Pommern division in 1932. They beat ''VfB Königsberg'' to finish second overall in the Baltenverband and move on to a national level eighth-final match up against ''Tennis Borussia Berlin'' where they lost 0:3. DFB-Pokal
The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double. Paul Ludwig Hans Anton von Beneckendorff und von Hindenburg (; abbreviated ; 2 October 1847 – 2 August 1934) was a German field marshal and statesman who led the Imperial German Army during World War I and later became President of Germany from 1925 until his death in 1934. During his presidency, he played a key role in the Nazi seizure of power in January 1933 when, under pressure from advisers, he appointed Adolf Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. The Gauliga Pommern was the highest football league in the Prussian province of Pomerania (German:''Pommern'') from 1933 to 1945.
