Viktor Zhylin
Viktor Zhylin ( ua, Віктор Степанович Жилін, russian: Виктор Степанович Жилин; 9 January 1923 – 14 October 2009) was a Ukrainian football defender and forward and manager, the master of sports, the honored trainer of Ukraine. Player career Zhylin was born in the city of Tahanrih (today Taganrog), Donets Governorate. Since childhood, playing in local Krylya Sovetov Taganrog, was a member of the Great Patriotic War. After winning back to his favorite things to football. He played for FC Dinamo Kursk and FC Dinamo Voronezh. As a player Zhylin had successful stint with FC Dynamo Kyiv. Also played for FC Zenit Leningrad, FK Daugava Rīga and FC OBO Kyiv. He was nicknamed 'Berkut' during his Dynamo Kyiv stint. Football Club Metalist Kharkiv ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб Металі́ст Ха́рків ) is a Ukrainian football club based in Kharkiv that plays in the Ukrainian First League during the 2021–22 season. It was revived 5 years after the original FC Metalist Kharkiv ceased operations. Founded in 1925, FC Metalist Kharkiv had worked its way up the rungs of the Soviet football system, eventually being promoted to the Soviet Top League in 1960. After a difficult period which included relegation, Metalist was promoted to the Top League again in 1982, where it remained until the league's dissolution. Donets Governorate ( uk, Донецька губернія, translit=Donetska huberniia) was a governorate of the Ukrainian SSR (Ukraine) that existed between 1919 and 1925. Football Club Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih () was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Kryvyi Rih. Until 2013 the club participated in professional competitions. Polissya Zhytomyr is a Ukrainian football club based in Zhytomyr, Polissya. As of the 2020–21 season, it will play in the Ukrainian First League, the second tier of Ukrainian football, following promotion from the 2019–20 Ukrainian Second League.
