Viktor Gozhy
Viktor Spiridonovich Gozhy (russian: Виктор Спиридонович Гожий; born 10 July 1946, in Ukraine) is a Russian politician, former First vice-chairman of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast (JAO; russian: Евре́йская автоно́мная о́бласть, (ЕАО); yi, ייִדישע אװטאָנאָמע געגנט, ; )In standard Yiddish: , ''Yidishe Oytonome Gegnt'' is a federal subject of Russia in the Russian Far East, bordering Khabarovsk Krai and Amur Oblast in Russia and Heilongjiang province in China. Nikolay Mikhaylovich Volkov (russian: link=no, Николай Михайлович Волков) (born 19 December 1951) is a Russian politician. Childhood and education Volkov was born in 1951 in Krasnoye village, in the Shablykinsky district of the Oryol Region. In 1973, Volkov graduated from a civil engineer institute in Odessa. Politics Volkov is the former governor of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast. Volkov is a member of Our Home Is Russia. Viktor Gozhy is the First vice-chairman of the Jewish Autonomous Oblast and next in the line of succession after Volkov.
