Vigneshwaran Baskaran (born 11 April 1990) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Delhi FC. He is the only player in India to win three consecutive national championships Club career Born in Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu, Baskaran began his career playing with lower league clubs such as Fateh Hyderabad and Sudeva Delhi before joining Punjab FC. He then joined I-League club Chennai City for the 2017–18 season. Baskaran made his professional debut for the club on 20 January 2018 against Gokulam Kerala, starting in a 0–1 defeat. After a season with Chennai City, Baskaran moved to Churchill Brothers. He made his debut for the club on 15 November 2018 against Shillong Lajong, starting in a 4–2 victory. 2019 Durand Cup
The 2019 Durand Cup was the 129th edition of the Durand Cup, oldest football tournament in Asia, since the tournament's founding in 1888. 16 teams competed in the tournament. The matches were played across three locations in West Bengal, namely Kolkata, Howrah and Kalyani from 2 August 2019. The final took place at the Salt Lake Stadium on 24 August 2019. I-League 2, previously known as I-League 2nd Division and officially known as or Hero I-League 2 (for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp), is an Indian men's professional football league. The 2021–22 I-League (also known as Hero I-League for sponsorship reasons) is the 15th season of I-League, last as the top tier of Indian football league system, since its establishment in 2007.
