Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School
Vieux Fort Comprehensive Secondary School or V.F.C.S.S located in the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia has two Campuses. Campus A consists of Forms 1 and 2 whilst Campus B consists of Forms 3 to 5. Although now Campus A and B are becoming full-fledged secondary schools. A the moment Campus B educates students of Form 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Founded in 1963 as Vieux Fort Secondary School, it was the first government secondary school in Saint Lucia. At V.F.C.S.S, there are about 1,700 students attending and more than 100 teachers working at the school. Campus A which nestled on the south-eastern edge of the town of Vieux Fort in the area known as Beanefield is managed by Mr. Auguste. Saint Lucia ( acf, Sent Lisi, french: Sainte-Lucie) is an island country of the West Indies in the eastern Caribbean. The island was previously called Iouanalao and later Hewanorra, names given by the native Arawaks and Caribs, two Amerindian peoples. Vieux Fort is one of 10 districts of the Caribbean island country of Saint Lucia. Vieux Fort is also the name of the main town in the district. It is the home of the second-largest town in Saint Lucia and is the home of Saint Lucia's international airport, Hewanorra International Airport (Hewanorra is the island's old Amerindian name). Caribbean Examinations Council
The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) is an examination board in the Caribbean. It was established in 1972 under agreement by the participating governments in the Caribbean Community to conduct such examinations as it may think appropriate and award certificates and diplomas on the results of any such examinations so conducted. The council is empowered to regulate the conduct of any such examinations and prescribe the qualification requirements of candidates and the fees payable by them. It is now an examining body that provides educational certifications in 16 English speaking Commonwealth Caribbean Countries and Territories and has replaced the General Certificate of Education (GCE) examinations used by England and some other members of the Commonwealth. Zaine Pierre (born 21 September 1993) is a Saint Lucian former international footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Dennery, Pierre began his career with Vieux Fort and Square United. On 24 February 2010, he joined TT Pro League club W Connection. He made his debut for Trinidadian club W Connection on 20 September 2010. Earlier that month, Pierre had gone on trial with English team Stoke City.
