Vietnam Colony
''Vietnam Colony'' is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language comedy drama film written and directed by Siddique-Lal. It stars Mohanlal, Innocent (actor), Innocent, Kanaka (actress), Kanaka, and K. P. A. C. Lalitha. The soundtrack of the film was composed by S. Balakrishnan (composer), S. Balakrishnan. The film achieved considerable success following its theatrical release and became the first highest-grossing of the year. A Tamil remake of the film was released in 1994 with Vietnam Colony (1994 film), the same title. The film is based on the 1983 Scottish film ''Local Hero (1983 film), Local Hero''. Plot G. Vijayaraghavan (actor)
Vijayaraghavan (born 20 December 1951) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is popular for his character roles. He is the son of popular drama and cinema artist N. N. Pillai. He got his break by playing the iconic character ''Ramji Rao'' in 1989 film Ramji Rao Speaking. This character later got the cult status in Malayalam Cinema. Early life and family Vijayaraghavan is the son of veteran actor N. N. Pillai and Chinnamma. Jayasurya
Jayasurya (born August 1978) is an Indian actor, distributor, Sponsor, Model, film producer, playback singer, and impressionist, who works in the Malayalam films. He has appeared in more than 100 films and has won several awards, including a National Film Award, three Kerala State Film Awards, two Filmfare Awards South for acting and Best actor at the Cincinnati Film Festival held in Cincinnati, US. He joined the industry as an art and production manager and later was the manager for actor Nedumudi Venu. Santha Kumari (born Vellaala Subbamma; 17 May 1920 – 16 January 2006) was an Indian musical artist and actress. She was married to the Telugu film director and producer P. Pullayya. Early years Vellaala Subbamma was born in Proddatur town, ( Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh) to Sreenivasa Rao and Pedda Narasamma. Sankaradi
Chandrashekaran Menon, better known by his screen name Sankaradi (14 July 1924 – 8 October 2001), was an Indian actor. He was a veteran Malayalam comedian and character artist, who had over 700 Malayalam films to his credit. He dominated the Malayalam film scene in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s as a comedian along with Adoor Bhasi and Bahadoor. Later, he switched to character roles.
