''Vietato ai minori'' (''Forbidden to Minors'') is a 1992 Italian comedy film directed by Maurizio Ponzi. Plot Officially landed on the Isle of Elba to make a documentary for Rai 1, a crew is actually there to shoot a porn film. The film has to be starred by the diva Edith Costello and by the young actor Salvatore, who is unaware that he had been hired to shoot hardcore scenes. When Salvatore will discover the truth, problems will begin. Maurizio Ponzi
Maurizio Ponzi (born 8 May 1939) is an Italian film director, screenwriter and cinema critic. Born in Rome, he wrote cinema reviews in several Italian magazines during the early 1960s. He worked as assistant director in Pier Paolo Pasolini's episode in ''Amore e rabbia'' and directed a series of documentaries in 1967–1968. He has directed 22 films between 1968 (his debut film '' I visionari'' won a prize in the Locarno Festival) and 2004. His film ''The Pool Hustlers'' (''Io, Chiara e lo Scuro'', one of three featuring Francesco Nuti that Ponzi directed in the early 1980s) was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1983 Cannes Film Festival. Angelo Orlando (born 11 August 1965) is an Italian professional football coach and a former midfielder. He is currently an assistant director for FA Euro in New York. Playing career Orlando began his career in 1983 with Varese, where he remained for two seasons, before moving to Triestina in 1985. Melania Gaia Mazzucco (born 6 October 1966) is an Italian author. She is a recipient of the Strega Prize and Bagutta Prize. Education and career Mazzucco graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1990 and the Sapienza University of Rome with a degree in History of Modern and Contemporary Literature in 1992. In the 1990s, she wrote several screenplays before publishing her first novel ''Il bacio della Medusa'' in 1996. Her 2003 novel ''Vita'' was awarded the Strega Prize.
