''Angelus'' (also called ''Angelus News)'' is a weekly Catholic magazine published jointly by The Tidings Corporation and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the most populous diocese in the United States. The magazine began publication in 1895 as a newspaper named ''The Tidings'' and is the oldest continuously published Catholic periodical on the west coast of the United States. It is also the oldest weekly periodical in the Los Angeles market. The last issue of ''The Tidings'' was published in June 2016; in July 2016, it was transformed into the multimedia news platform ''Angelus'' (aka ''Angelus News''). Francisco Lagos Cházaro
Francisco Jerónimo de Jesús Lagos Cházaro Mortero ( Tlacotalpan, Veracruz, September 20, 1878 – November 13, 1932 in Mexico City) was the acting President of Mexico designated by the Convention of Aguascalientes from June 10, 1915 to October 10, 1915. Biography Lagos Cházaro studied for a legal career in Veracruz, Puebla and Mexico City. In 1909, he joined the antireelectionist movement against President Porfirio Díaz led by Francisco I. Madero. In 1911, he was elected to the city council of Orizaba, Veracruz. He was also governor of the state of Veracruz during the presidency of Madero (February–November 1912). On the death of Madero in 1913, he joined the constitutionalist party. President Venustiano Carranza named him president of the Superior Court of Justice of Coahuila. Vida Nueva (Los Freddy's Album)
Los Freddy's (or Los Freddys) were a Mexican musical group, founded in 1962 in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The group was one of the most popular Mexican ensembles of the 1960s and 1970s. Early in their careers, the group earned popularity by playing cover songs of popular English-language songs (such as Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs' " Wooly Bully" and The Beatles' "Penny Lane") that were translated into Spanish; beginning in the 70s, the band established themselves throughout Latin America as one of the top bands with a string of successful original slow ballads and grupera songs. They were nominated for a Grammy Award in 1989. In 1994, lead singer Arturo Cisneros left the band to pursue a solo career and now performs under his own name. The remaining band members continue together with a new lead singer. Luis Raul Marrero (born January 23, 1974), also known by his stage name Funky, is a Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter. Río Roma are a Mexican Latin pop duo. It consists of brothers José Luis Ortega Castro (born January 17, 1981) and Raúl Ortega Castro (born July 17, 1984). José Luis is also a prolific songwriter. Reyli Barba (born April 12, 1972), most commonly known as Reyli, is a Mexican singer-songwriter. He is also a composer and has written songs for artists such as Alejandro Fernández and Beyoncé Knowles. Reyli is a former member of Elefante, a band which he led until 2003, when he set out to release his debut solo album.
