The 2023 Victory Road was the 17th Victory Road professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on September 8, 2023, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York, and aired on Impact Plus and YouTube. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show and one taped as a digital exclusive. In the main event, Josh Alexander defeated Steve Maclin. In other prominent matches, Naomi (wrestler), Trinity defeated Alisha Edwards to retain the Impact Knockouts World Championship, and MSK (professional wrestling), The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Nash Carter, Zachary Wentz) defeated The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) to retain the Impact World Tag Team Championship. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Trey McBrayer (born August 30, 1994) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling, where he performs under the ring name Trey Miguel, and is the current Impact X Division Champion in his second reign. ''One Night Only'' was a series of professional wrestling events held by Impact Wrestling launched in April 2013. The concept was announced on January 11, 2013 by then-Total Nonstop Action (TNA) President Dixie Carter as a part of a change to their pay-per-view programming. Prior to the change, the company held live pay-per-view events monthly. The series consists of events that are taped and released later periodically on pay-per-view, typically on the first Friday of every month, except for the months that featured one of the company's main pay-per-view events. Promoted as individual "specials", the One Night Only series — unlike the live pay-per-view events — were not initially connected to the storylines featured on Impact's flagship television show, nor to each other or the mainline pay-per-view events. This is a list of pay-per-view (PPV) events held by the American professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. From its inception, Impact Wrestling's main output was a two-hour weekly program broadcast exclusively on pay-per-view. Their first event was held on June 19, 2002 in Huntsville, Alabama; the last of these shows aired on September 8, 2004. Soon after the launch of its flagship, weekly television program, '' Impact!'', on June 4, 2004, the promotion began producing monthly, live, three-hour pay-per-view events; the first of these events, Victory Road aired on November 7, 2004. The Westchester County Center is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in White Plains, New York. It hosts various local concerts and sporting events for the area. The County Center was conceived by the Westchester Recreation Commission in 1924 as a multi-purpose indoor recreational facility to host community programs and income-producing commercial events. Joshua Harter (born February 4, 1982), better known by his ring name Chris Sabin, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, and is also known for his work in Ring of Honor. After being trained by Scott D'Amore, Sabin debuted in 2000 for Border City Wrestling (BCW), and quickly began competing for numerous other independent promotions. In 2003, Sabin joined TNA, and quickly won the TNA X Division Championship, which he later unified with the WWA International Cruiserweight Championship. In 2004, he also wrestled for Ring of Honor.
