Victory Road (2022)
The 2022 Victory Road was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on September 23, 2022, at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and aired on Impact Plus and YouTube. It was the 13th event under the Victory Road chronology. The event also featured wrestlers from partner promotions Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Ten matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show and one taped as a digital exclusive. In the main event, Steve Maclin defeated Moose and Sami Callihan in a three-way Barbed Wire Massacre. In other prominent matches, Jordynne Grace defeated Max the Impaler, Frankie Kazarian won an Intergender Triple Threat Revolver to become the number one contender to the Impact X Division Championship, Mickie James defeated Gisele Shaw in a Career Threatening match, and Mike Bailey defeated Delirious to retain the X Division Championship in the opening bout. Samuel Alton Johnston (born September 1, 1987) is an American professional wrestler and promoter, better known by the ring name Sami Callihan, currently signed with Impact Wrestling and is a former Impact World Champion. Impact One Night Only
''One Night Only'' was a series of professional wrestling events held by Impact Wrestling launched in April 2013. The concept was announced on January 11, 2013 by then-Total Nonstop Action (TNA) President Dixie Carter as a part of a change to their pay-per-view programming. Prior to the change, the company held live pay-per-view events monthly. The series consists of events that are taped and released later periodically on pay-per-view, typically on the first Friday of every month, except for the months that featured one of the company's main pay-per-view events. This is a list of pay-per-view (PPV) events held by the American professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. From its inception, Impact Wrestling's main output was a two-hour weekly program broadcast exclusively on pay-per-view. Their first event was held on June 19, 2002 in Huntsville, Alabama; the last of these shows aired on September 8, 2004. Soon after the launch of its flagship, weekly television program, '' Impact!'', on June 4, 2004, the promotion began producing monthly, live, three-hour pay-per-view events; the first of these events, Victory Road aired on November 7, 2004. These events were initially held at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.
