Victor Pshonka
Viktor Pavlovych Pshonka ( uk, Віктор Павлович Пшонка, Russian: Виктор Павлович Пшонка, born 6 February 1954, Serhiyivtsi, Sloviansk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) is a former Prosecutor General of Ukraine (from 4 November 2010 until 22 February 2014), State Counselor of Justice of Ukraine and member of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine. He holds a Doctor of Laws degree, and is a member of the International Association of Prosecutors. Having served under former President Viktor Yanukovych, on 22 February 2014, amidst the Revolution of Dignity, the Verkhovna Rada ousted Pshonka in a no-confidence vote. On 23 February 2014 an arrest warrant was issued to arrest Pshonka. Pshonka is believed to have fled to Russia in the aftermath of Yanukovych being ousted, and took Russian citizenship.
