Victim Of Modern Age
Victim of Modern Age was a musical group originating circa 2002 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. They disbanded in December 2004. History ;''Self-titled EP'' (2001) After recording their first EP ''Self-titled,'' the band was scooped up by Philadelphia Indie Label Universal Warning Records in 2001. The contract put them in touch with nationally spread label mates which opened up to several national tours. Similarly, this opportunity gave a seemingly wide distribution for their follow album through Revelation Records and the now merged Lumberjack Distribution. Around this time the group was joined by Allen Clements of Lafayette, LA-based band Claymore. Allen Clements
Allen J. Clements is an American filmmaker and senior producer at MAKE films from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was also co-founder of Animation/VFX firm Postage, Inc. A native to Lafayette, LA and a 2003 graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he's known for his participation as a guitarist and vocalist in several prominent indie rock bands including Claymore and Victim of Modern Age. His film work includes producing and directing cinematic and animated films, commercials, and promotional pieces. Early life, education Allen Clements was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. His father was a commercial artist who served as art director for a local television station, as well as a print man. Clements frequently tagged along with his father at work. Universal Warning Records is a record label and video production company located in the greater Philadelphia area. Universal Warning produces and releases independent music from local and national bands, as well as produces music videos, live concerts for DVD and digital transmission as well as music documentaries, primarily from the indie, punk, and hardcore genres. History The label was established in the Spring of 2000 by founders Tim Martinkovich, Mike Varga, and Clint Weiler. The three met while studying at Kutztown University.
