Vickie Gates (actress)
Vickie Gates is a British actress who made her television acting debut in ''Brookside'' at the age of 16. After her initial storylines from 1990–1993, she joined an all-girl pop band called Dream Reality and then appeared in the TV series '' Springhill'' before returning to ''Brookside'' in 1997 for four additional years. Her television career continued with roles in ''City Central'', '' Liverpool 1'' and ''The Bill''. She has supplemented her television work with appearances in the film ''The Last Straw'' and appearing in the ''Vagina Monologues''. Other TV appearances have included ''Abbamania 2'' and as the winner of Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes for ITV. Thames Television, commonly simplified to just Thames, was a Broadcast license, franchise holder for a region of the British ITV (TV network), ITV television network serving Greater London, London and surrounding areas from 30 July 1968 until the night of 31 December 1992. The Epstein Theatre, built in 1913, is one of many theatres in Liverpool, England. It has been threatened with closure several times, but reopened in May 2011 after a ÂŁ1.2m refurbishment.
