Vicente Mijares
Vicente Mijares Saldivar (born 14 June 1954) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 1974 to 1984. He challenged for the WBC lightweight title in 1977. He's the uncle of three-time world champion Cristian Mijares. Orthodox Stance
In combat sports such as boxing, an orthodox stance is one in which the boxer places their left foot farther in front of the right foot, thus having their weaker side closer to the opponent. Because it favors the stronger, dominant side (often the right side; see laterality), the orthodox stance is the most common stance in boxing and MMA. It is mostly used by right-handed boxers. Cristian Ricardo Lucio Mijares (born 2 October 1981) is a Mexican former professional boxer. He is a two-time super flyweight champion, having held the unified WBC and WBA (Unified) titles from 2006 to 2008 and the IBF title from 2010 to 2011.
