Vicarage Hill
Vicarage Hill is a cricket ground located in East Challow, Oxfordshire. Situated on the site of a park which has been in existence since the 1890s, the ground is surrounded to the west by the road from which it gets its name, to the south by the Ickleton Road and to the north and east by farmland. Oxfordshire County Cricket Club, Oxfordshire first used the ground in the 1993 Minor Counties Championship against Wiltshire County Cricket Club, Wiltshire, playing a single Minor Counties Championship match in their season, with the exception of 1997, when two matches were played there. No Minor Counties Championship match was played there in 1998, but the ground did hold its first MCCA Knockout Trophy matches in that season when Oxfordshire played the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board, Norfolk County Cricket Club, Norfolk and Shropshire County Cricket Club, Shropshire. East Challow
East Challow is a village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish about west of Wantage in the Vale of White Horse, England. Historically it was part of the ecclesiastical parish of Letcombe Regis, but since 1852 East and West Challow have formed their own single ecclesiastical parish. The civil parish was part of Berkshire until the Local Government Act 1972, 1974 boundary changes transferred the Vale of White Horse to Oxfordshire. Oxfordshire County Cricket Club was established on 14 December 1921; prior to that a county club had existed before, with Oxfordshire competing in the first two Minor Counties Championship's in 1895 and 1896, and an Oxfordshire side also appeared in the competition from 1900 to 1906. It has since played minor counties cricket from 1922 and played List A cricket from 1967 to 2003, using a different number of home grounds during that time. Wayne Larkins (born 22 November 1953) is an English former cricketer, who represented Northamptonshire, Durham and Bedfordshire as an opening batsman throughout his career. He was selected to play for England as Graham Gooch's opening partner on tours of Australia and the West Indies. He was also a semi-professional footballer. Huntingdonshire County Cricket Club is one of the county clubs which make up the minor counties in the English domestic cricket structure, representing the historic county of Huntingdonshire. 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy
The 2001 Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 1 May and 1 September 2001. It was the first Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy following its change of name from the NatWest Trophy, with new sponsors Cheltenham & Gloucester plc.
