Veronika Vitenberg
Veronika Vitenberg ( he, ורוניקה ויטנברג; born September 9, 1988, in Grodno, Byelorussian SSR) is an Israeli rhythmic gymnast who competed in the 2008 Olympics. Career Vitenberg started rhythmic gymnastics at age 6 in Belarus, after her schoolteacher encouraged her to enroll because of her high flexibility. At the age of 13, she immigrated to Israel. Vitenberg competed for Israel at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and was a member of the rhythmic gymnastics team that placed 6th in the group final. Personal life Vitenberg is Jewish. She served in the Israel Defense Forces from 2007 to 2010 and received an "Athlete of Excellence" status, allowing her to continue training. She went through recruit training at Batar Nitzanim and then served at the HaKirya base in Tel Aviv. Irina "Ira" Risenzon-Nahmany ( Risenzon, he, אירה ריסנזון; born 14 January 1988) is a retired Hungarian-born Israeli rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2008 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist. Neta Rivkin
Neta Rivkin ( he, נטע ריבקין; born June 19, 1991) is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is one of Israel's most successful rhythmic gymnasts. A three-time Olympian, in 2011 she won the silver medal in clubs at the 2011 European Championships. That same year she also won a bronze medal in the individual hoop final at the 2011 World Championships. She won the all-around silver medal at the 2014 Grand Prix Final. Nicol Zelikman
Nicol Zelikman ( he, ניקול זליקמן; born January 30, 2001) is a former Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a two-time medalist at the 2016 European Junior Championships. Early life Zelikman was born and raised in Kfar Saba, Israel. Her grandparents, father, and mother were born in Baku, Soviet Azerbaijan. They had lived there, met and married; and in 1993 they moved to Russia, and then immigrated to Israel. She has a twin brother and two older brothers. She was introduced to rhythmic gymnastics by her mother; Elena "Lena" Zelikman, who is also her personal assistant coach. In 2019, Zelikman was enlisted to the Israel Defense Forces, but also continued practicing professionally. Her head coach is Ella Samofalov. Linoy Ashram ( he, לינוי אשרם; born ) is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time (2017, 2019) World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal.
