Vernon De Marco Morlacchi (born 18 November 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for UAE Pro League club Hatta. Born in Argentina, he plays for the Slovakia national team. Club career Born in Rosario, Vernon finished his formation with CD San Francisco. On 14 July 2011, he moved to Constància, and made his senior debuts with the club during the campaign, in Tercera División. On 22 July 2012, Vernon moved abroad, joining Slovak 2. Liga club Zemplín Michalovce. A regular starter for the club, he contributed with seven goals in 24 appearances during the 2014–15 season, as his side achieved promotion to Fortuna Liga. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. The 2018–19 Ekstraklasa was the 93rd season of the Polish Football Championship, the 85th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 11th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title.
