Verica Bakoc
Verica Bakoc (; born May 3, 1999) is a Canadian water polo player who plays for CE Mediterrani, Mediterrani and for the Canada women's national water polo team, Canada women's national team. Career College and club career Bakoc was part of the USC Trojans side that finished first in the 2018 NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship, second in 2019 NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship, 2019 and first in 2021 NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship, 2021. She was also part of the Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club, Ethnikos Piraeus side that won the 2021–22 Women's LEN Trophy. 2021–22 Women's LEN Trophy
The 2021–22 Women's LEN Trophy is the 23th edition of the European second-tier tournament for women's water polo clubs. It was a two-legged final that was played in Dunaújváros, Hungary, and Piraeus, Greece on 25 and 30 March 2022. Ethnikos won its second LEN Trophy to become the Greek team with the most titles regarding this competition. Serbian White Eagles Football Club ( sr, Фудбалски клуб Српски бели орлови / ''Fudbalski klub Srpski beli orlovi'') is a Canadian soccer team. The team is a member of the Canadian Soccer League, an unsanctioned soccer league. The team's home kit is all white commemorating the white double-headed eagle which appears on the Serbian flag while the away colours are red-blue-white commemorating the tricolour of the Serbian flag. World Aquatics Championships
The FINA World Championships or World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships for aquatics sports: swimming, diving, high diving, open water swimming, artistic swimming, and water polo. They are run by FINA, and all swimming events are contested in a long course (50-metre) pool. The event was first held in 1973 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and is now held every two years. From 1978 to 1998, the World Championships were held every four years, in the even years between Summer Olympic years. From 2001 until 2019, the Championships have been held every two years, in the odd years. 2017 FINA Women%27s Water Polo World League
The 2017 FINA Women's Water Polo World League is the 14th edition of the annual women's international water polo tournament. It was played between November 2016 and June 2017 and open to all women's water polo national teams. After participating in a preliminary round, eight teams qualify to play in a final tournament, called the Super Final from 06 to 11 June 2017. In the world league, there are specific rules that do not allow matches to end in a draw. If teams are level at the end of the 4th quarter of any world league match, the match will be decided by a penalty shootout.
