Carl Verheyen is an American musician best known for being the guitarist of Supertramp, the leader of the Carl Verheyen Band, and as a Los Angeles session guitarist. He was ranked ''One of the World's Top 10 Guitarists'' by Guitar Magazine and won the LA Music Awards category of ''Best Guitarist'' at their 6th annual awards ceremony. Gert Verheyen
Gert Verheyen (; born 20 September 1970) is a Belgian retired footballer and manager, who was last in charge of Oostende. In a 20-year professional career, he was mainly associated with Anderlecht and Club Brugge (especially the latter), scoring over 200 official goals for both clubs combined; he was known to have rather few technical skills, relying on a hard-working approach. Verheyen represented Belgium in two World Cups and one European Championship. His father Jan was also player and international for Belgium from 1965 till 1976. Philip Verheyen
Philip Verheyen (Verrebroek, April 23, 1648 – Leuven, January 28, 1710) was a Flemish surgeon, anatomist and author. As the third child of seven, Verheyen was born in Verrebroek, in modern Belgium (most likely in his parents' house, standing on a small plot of owned land in the area called "Borring", close to the border with Meerdonk), to Thomas Verheyen and Joanna Goeman. He was baptized in the parish church of Verrebroek on 24 April 1648. Little is known of his childhood. As a young boy he was probably a cowherd, and it is assumed that he learned to read and write at the local parish school. Local folk tales claim that he had such a brilliant memory that he could recite the pastor's sermon after attending mass on Sunday. Geert Verheyen (; born 10 March 1973) is a former Belgian professional road racing cyclist who competed as a professional between 1994 and 2011. He was born in Diest, and is the cousin of cyclist David Verheyen. He turned professional in 1994, racing for Vlaanderen 2002-Eddy Merckx.
