Verge Music Festival
The Verge Music Festival was an alternative and modern rock festival. It was run by the promoters of Summerfest and took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the Summerfest Grounds. 2010, its inaugural year, was the only year that the event took place. 2010 (Inaugural Year) The initial lineup was announced March 11, 2010 in the Milwaukee Area. The two-day festival is expected to be held annually during the first weekend of June. The 2010 Verge Music Festival was Friday, June 4, and Saturday, June 5. Weezer, Three Days Grace, and AFI headlined the 2010 festival. Modern Rock
Modern rock is an umbrella term used to describe rock music that is found on college rock radio stations. Some radio stations use this term to distinguish themselves from classic rock, which is based in 1960s–1980s rock music. Summerfest
Summerfest is an annual music festival held in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. First held in 1968, Summerfest is located at Henry Maier Festival Park, adjacent to Lake Michigan and Milwaukee's central business district. Summerfest attracts approximately 800,000 people each year, promoting itself as "The World's Largest Music Festival", a title certified by Guinness World Records in 1999, but has been surpassed in attendance by Donauinselfest with over 3 million in 2015. While Summerfest has one of the highest aggregate attendances in the world, the daily attendance of Summerfest is lower than other major American music festivals. In 2022, the daily attendance of Summerfest was 49,500. During Summerfest, the park would usually host performances over 11 days, from late June until early July (including the Fourth of July). Three Days Grace
Three Days Grace is a Canadian Rock music, rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario in 1992 originally as "Groundswell" and played in various local Norwood backyard parties and area establishments before disbanding in 1995 and regrouping in 1997. Eagles Of Death Metal
Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums), the band also includes a wide range of other musicians who perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows. Hughes and Homme are the only permanent members of the band, with Homme rarely performing at live shows due to commitment to his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. AFI (abbreviation for A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991.
