Verena Rehm
Verena Carmen Rehm (born 14 May 1984) is a German musician best known as the backing vocalist and pianist of the Eurodance dance group Groove Coverage. She has many song writing credits both within and outside the group and also sings for many other German dance acts. Early life After attending kindergarten, Rehm discovered her passion for music. In her autobiography on the Suprime Records website, she states that her interest began with her father's old piano, which led Verena to begin piano lessons. At 14, she joined the cover band Querbeet. She spent 4 years with them as their lead singer, also playing the keyboard. Suprime Records and Groove Coverage At the age of 18, Rehm was approached by Axel Konrad and Ole Wierk, who asked her to join the team at Suprime Records. After debating against herself for a while, she accepted. Neuburg An Der Donau
Neuburg an der Donau (Central Bavarian: ''Neiburg an da Donau'') is a town which is the capital of the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district in the state of Bavaria in Germany. Hymn (Ultravox Song)
"Hymn" is a 1982 song from Ultravox's sixth studio album ''Quartet''. Released as the album's second single, it reached #11 on the UK Singles Chart and the Top 10 in Germany and Switzerland. History The song was written by Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure and produced by George Martin. The cover art depicts certain symbols of Freemasonry, most notably the compass and the square. The melody of the song was heavily inspired by The Zones' song ''"Mourning Star"'' (1977). Lyrically, the song describes a time of corruption, in which "all that's good will fall from grace" and "Different words ..have other meaning"; the protagonist expresses his worldly ambitions for "power and glory" in phrases from Bible ("the storybook"), especially The Lord's Prayer. Chima Rameez Okpalaugo better known by his mononym Rameez is an Austrian rapper best known in Germany for being featured on 2011 hit "Think About the Way" by Groove Coverage (a cover of a same-titled original hit by ICE MC) and in " My Party", a hit by German DJane Housekat.
