Verano De Amor
''Verano de amor'' (English title: ''Summer of Love'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa. It is a remake of a famous Argentine telenovela, ''Verano del 98'', adapted for the Mexican audience. It premiered on February 9, 2009, and ended on July 24, 2009. On April 15, 2019, Univision Tlnovelas started broadcasting "Verano de amor" weekdays at 7:00am/1:00pm/7:00pm with a marathon of episodes every Sunday at 7:00am replacing "Así son ellas" the last episode was broadcast on September 27, 2019, with "El juego de la vida" replacing it the following day. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Manuel Ojeda
Manuel Salvador Ojeda Armenta (4 November 1940 – 11 August 2022) was a Mexican actor. Ojeda was one of the most active actors of television and cinema in Mexico. He played the villain, Zolo, in the Hollywood film ''Romancing the Stone''. Career Manuel Salvador Ojeda Armenta was born in La Paz, Baja California Sur. He studied acting at the "Instituto de Bellas Artes" ("Institute of Fine Arts") and started his career in theatre. Manuel Landeta
Manuel Landeta (born José Manuel Goenaga Jassan on October 5, 1958) is a Mexican singer and actor of telenovelas. His two sons Imanol and Jordi Landeta are also actors and singers. Career Manuel Landeta started his acting career at the age of 26 in the telenovela ''La pasión de Isabela'' ("Isabela's passion"). The following year he was part of the cast in ''Juana Iris'' another telenovela on Televisa. In 1986 he obtained his first starring role in '' Martín Garatuza'', as the character of the same name in a story that takes place in Colonial Mexico. Tlacotalpan
Tlacotalpan is a city in Tlacotalpan Municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998 primarily for its architecture and colonial-era layout. The town was established in 1550 on what was originally an island in the Papaloapan River. From the colonial era to the 20th century, it was an important port, one of few interior river ports in Latin America. However, with the construction of the railroad, Tlacotalpan's importance faded. ''Verano del '98'' was an Argentine telenovela intended for teenagers, broadcast by Telefe from January 26, 1998 until November 24, 2000. Allegedly planned as way to cover a programming gap for the summer of 1998, it became such a hit that it ended lasting three consecutive seasons. After the series aired Telefe came under fire as it became apparent that ''Verano del '98'' was a thinly veiled copy of the popular American teen drama ''Dawson's Creek'', which also started airing around the same time. ''Camaleones'' (''Chameleons'') is a 2009/2010 Mexican neo-noir vigilante heist thriller telenovela produced by Televisa. The soap opera premiered on Mexico's Canal de las Estrellas, replacing the completed TV series ''Verano de Amor''.
