Veranika Ivanova
Veranika Petrovna Ivanova ( be, Вераніка Пятроўна Іванова; born 24 September 1996) is a Belarusian freestyle wrestler. She is a three-time bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. She is also a bronze medalist at the European Games. Career Ivanova represented Belarus at the 2015 European Games held in Baku, Azerbaijan and she won one of the bronze medals in the women's freestyle 60kg event. Ivanova also competed in the women's freestyle 62kg event at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus without winning a medal. She was eliminated in her first match by Johanna Mattsson of Sweden. In 2016, Ivanova won one of the bronze medals in the women's 63kg event at the World University Wrestling Championships held in Çorum, Turkey. In 2017, Ivanova competed in the women's freestyle 63kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. She was eliminated in her first match by Yuliya Tkach of Ukraine. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2015 European Games
The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015 or Baku 2015 European Games ( az, Bakı 2015 Avropa Oyunları), were the inaugural edition of the European Games, an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of the European Olympic Committees. It took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and featured almost 6,000 athletes from 50 countries competing in 30 sports, including 15 summer Olympic and 2 non-Olympic sports. Host selection Baku was awarded the right to host the first European Games at the 41st EOC General Assembly in Rome, on 8 December 2012. 2021 World Wrestling Championships – Women's Freestyle 62 Kg
The women's freestyle 62 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Oslo, Norway on 4 and 5 October. This freestyle wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. The 2021 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament was the last wrestling qualification tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The event was held from 6 to 9 May 2021, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. Two spots were given to each of the weight classes in every event. This allows a total of 12 available spots for each event. Every winner and runner-up per class were awarded their place for wrestling, at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
