Ventsislav Kerchev
Ventsislav Kerchev (Bulgarian: Венцислав Керчев; born 2 June 1997) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Slavia Sofia. Career Early career Born in Ruse, Kerchev began his football career playing for Dunav Ruse at the age of seven. In 2010, he joined Ludogorets's youth setup. Ludogorets Razgrad At the start of the 2015–16 season, Kerchev was promoted to the club's reserve team in the B Group, the second level of Bulgarian football. He made his debut on 25 July, in a 3–2 home defeat against Dunav Ruse. After spending August and the early part of September playing with Ludogorets II, Kerchev was called up to the senior team by manager Eduard Eranosyan. He made his debut in the A Group on 19 September, playing full 90 minutes in the centre of defence against Botev Plovdiv. Ruse, Bulgaria
Ruse (also transliterated as Rousse, Russe; bg, Русе ) is the fifth largest city in Bulgaria. The 2015–16 A Group was the 92nd season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, and 68th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid. The season has started on 17 July 2015 and is expected to end in May 2016. The league is contested by ten teams. The Bulgarian Second Professional Football League ( bg, Втора професионална футболна лига, Vtora Profesionalna Futbolna Liga), also known as Second League ( bg, Втора Лига) or Vtora liga, is the second level of the Bulgarian football league system, below First League and above the Third League. The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it.
