Petrivka ( uk, Петрівка; russian: Петровка) is a rural settlement in Berezivka Raion of Odesa Oblast in Ukraine. It is located in the steppe, about north of the city of Odesa. Petrivka belongs to Velykyi Buialyk rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Until 18 July 2020, Petrivka belonged to Ivanivka Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Odesa Oblast to seven. The area of Ivanivka Raion was merged into Berezivka Raion. Until 26 January 2024, Petrivka was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Petrivka became a rural settlement.
